How charity challenges work on GiveDuel
Create an account and confirm your email, then open Challenges to publish a title, description, cause and end date. Share the challenge link. Participants join before using its checkout; only verified payments attributed to that challenge and made before its deadline count. A return from checkout alone does not confirm a contribution.
Plan a charity competition people want to join
Write a short explanation of why the topic matters to your group. Set a manageable deadline and make participation voluntary. A reading week or a walking challenge can provide a theme, but GiveDuel does not track books, steps or completed activities. Agree on those activities separately and avoid prizes or pressure to spend more.
Make donation challenges transparent
Explain the recipient and intended use before inviting anyone to contribute. GiveDuel categories are topics, not verified charities. Contributions go to the platform’s Stripe account; selecting a cause does not transfer money to an organization. Automatic payouts to charities or campaign organizers are not implemented.
Read the results fairly
Compare the same period and metric when discussing results. Leaderboards include confirmed eligible payments; refunds and unresolved or lost disputes reduce scores. Ties share positions. Anonymous contributions appear in aggregate totals without a named individual score. Daily, weekly and monthly periods follow Brasília time.
